Job Description

*This position is available for our 430 BLUE HILL AVE store in Dorchester MA*

Position Overview:

The Inventory and Fulfillment associate is responsible for all aspects of the inventory intake, inventory management, and inventory fulfillment chain of custody. This position requires tremendous attention to detail while intaking deliveries, inputting inventory into our Metrc and Point of Sale systems, moving product between rooms, performing inventory audits, filling the sales floor, and fulfilling customer orders, both online and in-store. The Inventory and Fulfillment associate is also responsible for following all CCC guidelines to ensure compliance with all state laws and regulations. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring compliance with the Cannabis Control Commission, Metrc reporting, and regulations.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, follow safety standards to ensure a safe work and shipping/delivery environment.
• Functioning as an inventory specialist, working towards consistent reporting and determining discrepancies.
• Investigates and solves inventory discrepancies, helps to reconcile discrepancies and notifies Inventory Manager of irregularities.
• Help support all inventory related tasks, compliance and partner with the back of house on transfers and identifying concerns.
• Follow all protocols regarding the handling, packaging, labeling and movement of products.
• Responsible for ensuring the inventory and integrity of the company’s goods as they are received, tracked, and stored, in an organized fashion.
• Take in new products and transfer products as required in the system relative to each manifest.
• Maintain organization, cleanliness, and compliance in the inventory room.
• Count inventory on a daily basis with rotating categories.
• Review the manifest with drivers and obtain all required signatures for manifests and chain of custody forms.
• Be an integral part of populating, implementing, and controlling our inventory platform.
• Enter and audit data in company software to ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Accurately fill all customer orders, both in-store and online, and checking all inventory by reading the label before dispensing.
• Follow all company policies and procedures at all times, including dress code and customer service standards.

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience in an inventory related position preferred
• Proficiency with basic computer skills such as data entry

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a retail-style environment with frequent movement and handling of products.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work nights and weekends
