Marketing Coordinator
Position Overview:
As the Marketing Coordinator, you will drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and loyalty through strategic marketing initiatives for our cultivation facility and retail brand. You will oversee social media management, digital marketing campaigns, event coordination, and CRM communications (SMS/email via Springbig). Your creativity and industry expertise will help shape our brand’s voice, enhance our digital presence, and foster community connections.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media & Content Creation
- Develop and execute a multi-platform social media strategy (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X) to highlight cultivation processes, product launches, and brand storytelling.
- Manage a content calendar, ensuring consistent, compliant, and engaging posts (photos, videos, reels, blogs).
- Monitor and engage with the online community, responding to comments, DMs, and reviews in a brand-aligned manner.
- Stay updated on cannabis trends, competitor activity, and platform algorithm changes to optimize content.
Digital Marketing & CRM
- Plan and deploy SMS and email marketing campaigns (via Springbig) to promote sales, events, and loyalty programs.
- Segment audiences and analyze campaign performance to refine messaging for maximum engagement.
- Collaborate with the sales team to align promotions with inventory and cultivation harvest cycles.
Event & Community Marketing
- Organize and promote on-site and off-site events (product launches, vendor days, educational workshops).
- Partner with influencers, budtenders, and local businesses to amplify brand reach.
- Encourage user-generated content and community-driven initiatives to strengthen brand loyalty.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track KPIs (engagement, conversion, ROI) and provide insights to optimize marketing efforts.
- Report on social media growth, email/SMS performance, and event success metrics.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years in marketing, social media, or digital content creation (cannabis, CPG, or lifestyle industries preferred).
- Experience with Springbig (or similar CRM tools) for SMS/email marketing.
- Strong copywriting and visual storytelling skills (Canva, Adobe Suite, or basic video editing a plus).
- Knowledge of cannabis compliance (social media restrictions, state marketing laws).
- Data-driven mindset with experience in Google Analytics, social insights, or email campaign metrics.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cultivation/retail teams.
