Position Overview:

The Inventory Manager oversees all aspects of inventory management, ensuring accurate tracking, compliance with state regulations, and efficient product movement across all departments. This role is critical for maintaining product integrity, operational efficiency, and legal compliance within a regulated cannabis environment.

The Inventory Manager will oversee the entire Inventory and Fulfillment team and is responsible for directing, coaching, delegating to, and follow up with the team on all daily tasks, ensuring compliance with all CCC regulations and company expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate inventory records in compliance with state and local cannabis regulations.
  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Manage receiving, storing, and transferring of cannabis products, including raw materials and finished goods.
  • Ensure all product labeling and packaging meets compliance standards.
  • Generate inventory reports for internal use and regulatory reporting.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and Procurement Manager to forecast demand and adjust inventory levels accordingly.
  • Implement and improve inventory control procedures and loss prevention strategies.
  • Train and supervise all Inventory and Fulfillment associates.
  • Coordinate with compliance officers and regulators during inspections or audits.
  • Track waste and destruction of cannabis products per CCC guidelines.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cannabis laws and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years experience in inventory management, preferably in a regulated industry (cannabis, pharmaceuticals, alcohol, etc.).
  • Knowledge of state cannabis regulations and track-and-trace systems (e.g., METRC).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong computer skills, especially Excel and inventory management software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment and handle sensitive data with discretion.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in a retail-style environment with frequent movement and handling of products.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Additional Details:
  • $60,000-$70,000, depending on experience
